Saint Viator took a four-goal loss the last time they faced off against South Elgin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Storm on Wednesday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was nothing new for Saint Viator as they're now sitting on three straight.

Monica Correa and Kalin Mccrea scored both of Saint Viator's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Saint Viator's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for South Elgin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saint Viator will take on Marist at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for South Elgin, they will face off against Conant at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
