After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian, Odessa was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Mary Walker Chargers 74-59. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mary Walker lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Marc Andrew, who posted 14 points. Z'Andre Barker was another key player, going 7 of 8 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.

The win got Odessa back to even at 5-5. As for Mary Walker, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Odessa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 84-34 defeat against Almira-Coulee-Hartline on the 21st. Mary Walker has also already played their next game, an 85-50 loss against Medical Lake on the 21st.
