The American History Bald Eagles will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Weequahic Indians at 4:00  p.m.  on February 9th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in New Jersey (American History is ranked 279th, while Weequahic is ranked 304th).
 In what's become a running theme this season, American History gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Newark Vocational 56-21 at home. That's two games straight that American History has won by exactly 35  points.
 American History found their leader in underclassman  Ashiyah Holliman, who  scored 25 points along with seven  assists and six  rebounds. It was the first time this season that  Holliman  scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Erica Lawson, who  scored ten points along with three  steals.
 Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought  contest, but Weequahic had to settle for a  33-31 loss against St. Vincent Academy on Tuesday. Weequahic has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 American History has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Weequahic, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
 Everything came up roses for American History against Weequahic in their previous meeting  back in February of 2023 as the  squad secured a  51-20 win. Will American History repeat their success,  or does  Weequahic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
