Neumann Regional Academy walked away with a 59-51 victory over Sullivan County on Friday. 59 seems to be a good number for Neumann Regional Academy as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Neumann Regional Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Messiah Baldwin out in front who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Baldwin is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyrick Moy, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds.
Neumann Regional Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Sullivan County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neumann Regional Academy will face off against Minersville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sullivan County, they will head out on the road to square off against Towanda at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Towanda and Sullivan County are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
