The Glacier Peak Grizzlies will venture away from home to challenge the Eastmont Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
If Glacier Peak beats Eastmont with 11 runs on Saturday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Glacier Peak walked away with an 11-8 victory over Kamiak on Friday. With that win, the Grizzlies brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Emma Hirshorn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Morgan Udy
| 03/28/25 @ Kamiak | 5 |
| 03/20/24 @ Cedarcrest | 3 |
| 03/24/25 @ Edmonds-Woodway | 2 |
| 05/17/24 @ Redmond | 2 |
| 04/02/24 @ Monroe | 2 |
At the plate, Morgan Udy was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Audrey Fortune was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.
Glacier Peak was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kamiak only posted a batting average of .250.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Eastmont challenged Wenatchee on Friday. Eastmont was the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over Wenatchee. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by seven runs or more this season.
Elizabeth Heinz made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Heinz was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Ellie Holben and Brittany Howe did most of the damage at the plate: Holben scored two runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3, while Howe went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Halle Radach, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
The victory (which was Eastmont's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Glacier Peak, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Glacier Peak has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Eastmont struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
