The Wabash Apaches posted their biggest victory yet this season on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 65-28 victory over Taylor. With Wabash ahead 36-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was another big night for Kierra Wilson, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Kaitlynn Honeycutt, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
The victory got Wabash back to even at 11-11. As for Taylor, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Wabash will face off against Winamac at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Winamac is ranked 203rd, while Wabash is ranked 224th). Taylor won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Sheridan at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Sheridan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday.
