In what's become a running theme this season, the Parma Panthers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 53-25 victory over Homedale at home. Given Parma's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Homedale is ranked 108th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Parma's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Homedale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parma will take on Payette at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Payette has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 12.
