Volleyball Recap: Beloit Gets the Win

Beloit won the last time they faced Concordia and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers.

The victory didn't come easy: Concordia scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21.

Addyson Channell paced Beloit's offense, picking up eight kills. Channell got some help from Colbi Stroede and her 14 assists. Bently Pruitt and Reagan Cheney kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Beloit's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Concordia, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4.

Beloit didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Circle on the 13th. As for Concordia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Smoky Valley on the 13th.
