Basketball Recap: Harris Everitt's Big Game Can't Quite Lead First Presbyterian Day over Brentwood

First Presbyterian Day lost against Brentwood back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the First Presbyterian Day Vikings and the Brentwood War Eagles didn't end well, with the First Presbyterian Day Vikings falling 60-41. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 495th, while the War Eagles are ranked 107th).

First Presbyterian Day lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Harris Everitt, who went 5 of 10 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Bateman, who posted seven points.

Brentwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tristan Robinson out in front who put up 18 points. Another player making a difference was Baylor Cobb, who had 14 points.

First Presbyterian Day dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Brentwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

First Presbyterian Day and Gatewood will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
