Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spanish Fort). They never let the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Toros in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won eight in a row.

Isabelle Walker looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Alexa Nance, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maggie Pollock, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Spanish Fort kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matchups.

Spanish Fort pushed their record up to 24-6 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for McGill-Toolen, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9-1.
