Montgomery Bell Academy won the last time it faced Wooddale, and things went their way on Friday, too. Montgomery Bell Academy took their game against Wooddale by a conclusive 42-8 score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
No one had a larger role in the success than sophomore Patrick Wilk, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 68 yards and 2 touchdowns. This was the first game for both teams, giving Montgomery Bell Academy a 1-0 record and starting Wooddale off at 0-1.
Next week, Montgomery Bell Academy take on Pearl-Cohn at 7:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Montgomery Bell Academy and Pearl-Cohn will really light up the scoreboard. As for Wooddale, they will face of against Hamilton.
