If the Grace Christian Warriors were feeling good off their 47-14 takedown of the Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Grace Christian fell to Buffalo Gap 40-34. Grace Christian has not had much luck with Buffalo Gap recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Justin Hain and Patrick Wells certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Hain scored 14 points along with seven rebounds, while Wells scored nine points along with seven rebounds. Hain also grabbed two steals for the first time this season.
Grace Christian now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Buffalo Gap, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Temple Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Buffalo Gap won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th.
