The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 31 points or more this season.
Marshfield had a senior duo take command as Zaida Kolbeck almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine assists and Mckenzie Holm went 11-for-14 on her way to 23 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Holm a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauryn Katzenberger, who posted 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Ayla Christensen and Paige Anderson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Christensen scored 21 points, while Anderson put up 14 points.
Marshfield pushed their record up to 12-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points over those games. As for Wausau West, their loss dropped their record down to 8-16.
