On Thursday, Macon suffered a tough 65-43 loss at the hands of Van-Far. Macon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-13.
Nikos Connaway continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Van-Far, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Connaway has scored at least 25% of Van-Far's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Gibson, who scored 9 points.
Macon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Van-Far, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Macon will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mendon Unity at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. As for Van-Far, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Callaway at 7:00 p.m.
