The Meyersdale Red Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Everett Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meyersdale's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Everett's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Meyersdale will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Southern, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Red Raiders never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Red Raiders sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Dylan Teets made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, earning two RBI and one run.
Teets wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cole Yoder, who went 3-for-4 with one run.
Meanwhile, Everett got their first taste of in-conference action on Wednesday and they started things off strong. Everything went their way against Forbes Road as they made off with a 10-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.
Like Meyersdale, Everett also got a great game from a two-way player: Owen Whitfield. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Whitfield has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That run marked the first that he has scored this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lane Whitfield, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Chase Sherwood, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Everett always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Forbes Road only posted an OBP of .316.
The victory got Meyersdale back to even at 5-5. As for Everett, their record now sits at 4-6.
Meyersdale's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's match. The Red Raiders have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.1 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Everett, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Meyersdale continue to outrun the ball?
