Lennox Academy waltzed into their game  on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Environmental Charter White Tigers by a score of  11-7. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the White Tigers  back in February, they had to take a  16-12  loss.
 Valeria Lopez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.
 At the plate,  Stacey Torres was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That  home run was  her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ariana Olmos, who  scored four  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
Lennox Academy pushed their record up to 6-3 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Environmental Charter,  with the  defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.
 Coming up, Lennox Academy will be playing at home against Smidt Tech  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Environmental Charter, they will take on Compton Early College at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
