Lowry has gone a perfect 4-0 against Hug recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Lowry Buckaroos will take on the Hug Hawks at 10:00 a.m. Lowry is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Lowry is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering North Valleys just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-5.

Michael Heikkila was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Hug lost 18-1 to Dayton on Saturday. The Hawks have struggled against the Dust Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meetings.

Hug's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lowry, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lowry has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Hug struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Lowry took their victory against Hug in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 15-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lowry since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
