Basketball Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Fremont

Fremont had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They really took it to the East Leopards for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-18 win. The Silverwolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fremont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avary Post, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Surrage, who put up four points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals.

Fremont was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

East's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaylah Dulin, who had ten points, and Nora Amidbakarr, who posted 11 boards and three steals. That was a full 55.6% of East's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Fremont's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Fremont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-16 win against Cyprus on the 3rd. As for East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-33 defeat against Alta on the 3rd.
