Wooster got themselves on the board against Orrville on Friday, but Orrville never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Red Riders. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Wooster is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Orrville, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-10.

Wooster wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Waynedale on the 10th. As for Orrville, they have also already played their next match, a 10-9 victory against Smithville on the 10th.
