Volleyball Recap: Out-of-Door Academy Comes Up Short

Out-of-Door Academy was the 3-2 winner over Indian Rocks Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Thunder fell 2-0 to the Eagles on Friday. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Out-of-Door Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emmy Coachys had 15 assists and three aces. Coachys has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Out-of-Door Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Out-of-Door Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Merritt Island Christian on the 22nd. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Southwest Florida Christian on the 22nd.
