The Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons will head out on the road to  face off against  the Lakeside Christian Lions  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
Saint Stephen's Episcopal managed to slip by Cardinal Mooney the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Saint Stephen's Episcopal came up short against  Cardinal Mooney on Thursday, falling  12-2. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Saint Stephen's Episcopal saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Abbie Eanet, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Lakeside Christian waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by  a  19-4 margin over the Warriors. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Jamisen Rheintgen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Lakeside Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Lex Mello, who  scored three  runs and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.  Kah'Rin Vance was another key player,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her seven plate appearances.
 Lakeside Christian  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seven Rivers Christian struck out eight times.
 Lakeside Christian's victory was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.4 runs. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Saint Stephen's Episcopal has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.3  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Lakeside Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 9.4  strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
