Steve Chavez Delivers Best Effort of Season
Steve Chavez produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Orange Lutheran to the win on Friday. Chavez rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023.
If history really does repeat itself, Chavez might just drop another big game when he faces off against St. John Bosco on Friday. When Chavez last faced the Braves back in October, he rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown.

Underclassman Maliq Allen Major Player in St. John Bosco Win
While it always takes a team to win, one person punching above their weight class on Friday was Maliq Allen. Nobody could stop he as he rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns. He also made an appearance on special teams (luckily for St. John Bosco): his a 49-yard strike wound up winning them the game.
St. John Bosco pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Allen and St. John Bosco will play host again on Friday to welcome Orange Lutheran, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.

Santa Margarita Gets a Boost from Mosley in 31-29 Loss
While Trent Mosley delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Santa Margarita. Despite the defeat, Mosley was still balling out as he picked up 64 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
For the season, Mosley has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 113.5 receiving yards per game.

Tj Lateef Makes It Two for Orange Lutheran
