Jordan Barnes of Van Alstyne (Texas) put together one of the top rushing performances of the season in a win over Farmersville last week.

Barnes tops the National Football Stat Stars list, based on statistics sent by coaches to MaxPreps, as he gained 522 yards on 34 carries with six touchdowns in a 62-55 win. Barnes had nearly 100 yards more than the next highest rusher last week.
A school with a prolific passing attack also made the stat stars list this week. Cole Ousley, a sophomore at Lone Oak (Paducah, Ky.) threw for 521 yards and seven touchdowns. Former Lone Oak quarterback Corey Robinson holds the national record for touchdowns with 91.
