The Highland Springs Springers can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by Varina at home to the tune of 89-14. The win was nothing new for Highland Springs as they're now sitting on four straight.
Highland Springs was led to victory by Brianna Shelton and Morgan Boyd. Shelton scored 18 points, while Boyd scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amirah Collins, who scored 13 points.
Highland Springs is on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Varina, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
Highland Springs will head out on the road to face off against Meadowbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
