Softball Recap: Sterling Has No Trouble Against Collingswood

Sterling barely beat Collingswood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Silver Knights blew past the Panthers 13-4 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Silver Knights, who have now won four matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Sterling has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Collingswood, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Sterling didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Haddon Heights on the 6th. As for Collingswood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Paulsboro on the 6th.
