The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ben Cobb, who scored 19 points along with two steals. That was a full 38.8% of Cornerstone Prep Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Simeon Greene, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, even though Excel Christian Academy scored an imposing 56 points on Monday, Cherokee Christian still came out on top. Cherokee Christian took their game against Excel Christian Academy 63-56. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cherokee Christian.
Cornerstone Prep Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Cherokee Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
