The Manvel Mavericks will head out on the road to take on the Friendswood Mustangs at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Manvel's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Last Saturday, Manvel kept a clean sheet against Ball. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Tornadoes 1-0.
Meanwhile, for the first time since back in January, Friendswood was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and Texas City finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw.
Manvel's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7-2. With that draw, Friendswood's record moves to 3-8-3.
