West Bladen had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Lumberton on Friday. Everything went the West Bladen Knights' way against the Lumberton Pirates as the West Bladen Knights made off with a 9-2 win. Nine seems to be a good number for the Knights as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Cade Allen, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Garrett Dunham, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

West Bladen's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lumberton, their record now sits at 0-2.
