Randleman is 9-1 against Wheatmore since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Randleman's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Wheatmore's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Randleman is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Eastern Randolph get on the board and left with a 16-0 win on Friday. Considering the Tigers have won six contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Addyson Dees made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kadie Green, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Kaylee Phillips was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Randleman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern Randolph only posted an OBP of .100.
Meanwhile, Wheatmore lost 8-2 to Providence Grove on Friday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Adalyn Boles spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits.
On the hitting side, Maddie Nichols made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Carter, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Randleman pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Wheatmore, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
Randleman was able to grind out a solid victory over Wheatmore in their previous matchup back in March, winning 6-3. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
