Caldwell had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They never let the Cambridge Bobcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Redskins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

Caldwell's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Cambridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
