The Jimtown Jimmies will play host again and welcome the Glenn Falcons, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Saturday, Jimtown came up short against Northridge and fell 60-50. While losing is never fun, Jimtown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Northridge is ranked 50th).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jackson Clopton, who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Brandon King, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Glenn's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 61-37 defeat at the hands of Mishawaka Marian. Glenn has not had much luck with Mishawaka Marian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Jimtown's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-9. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
Jimtown was dealt a bruising 72-34 loss at the hands of Glenn when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Jimtown was down 43-13.
