After soaring to 58 points the game before, the Jupiter Warriors were a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They were outmatched by Dwyer on the road and fell 57-25. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Jupiter in their matchups with Dwyer: they've now lost six in a row.
Dwyer found their leader in underclassman Liz Lynskey-Lake, who scored 13 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lynskey-Lake has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Amy Manzano, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Jupiter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Dwyer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8.
Jupiter and Santaluces will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Santaluces is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Dwyer will take on Palm Beach Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Palm Beach Lakes is ranked 137th, while Dwyer is ranked 143rd).
