Softball Recap: Clinton Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gibbs, Clinton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Scott Skyhawks a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Dragons have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Clinton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-12-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Scott, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.

Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scott, they are taking a road trip to face off against Logan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
