Emrick Hays Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Garden Plain got the W thanks in part to Emrick Hays playing the best football he has all season. Hays rushed for 211 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (107.8) per game. Those 211 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
The win was the third in a row for Garden Plain, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Hays will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Douglass on Friday.

Braxx Farr posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made four total tackles (3.0 for loss).
