Chace Hurley's Big Game Leads Pueblo South over Harrison
Starting off the list is Pueblo South's Chace Hurley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hurley forced a fumble and made nine total tackles. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 62 yards.
The win (which was Pueblo South's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Hurley and Pueblo South will face off against Lewis-Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dyson Sharpton Puts an End to Palmer's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Dyson Sharpton, Palmer said goodbye to their five-game losing streak. Pueblo Centennial had no answer to Sharpton on Friday as he rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Pueblo Centennial's probably not too fond of Sharpton given he always seems to get the better of them. Sharpton rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in September of 2023.

Pagano Came Up Big in Lewis-Palmer's 49-28 Defeat
Lewis-Palmer was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Jayden Pagano did his best to prevent it. Despite the loss, Pagano was still balling out as he rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns.
Discovery Canyon had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Pagano it was a similar story. Pagano rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and the Thunder duked it out back in August of 2023.

Francisco Pacheco Turns in Season-Best Performance
Pueblo South was led to victory by Francisco Pacheco, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Pacheco made 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss) and snagged an interception which he returned for a touchdown.
Harrison's probably not too fond of Pacheco given he always seems to get the better of them. Pacheco picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss) the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Palmer's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Mason Arrowsmith
Palmer's five-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Mason Arrowsmith. Arrowsmith was unstoppable on Friday, rushing for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
For the season, Arrowsmith has averaged 100.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 0.29 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 60 rushing yards.
