There's no place like home for the Clarke County Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down Chickasaw 57-43 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Clarke County also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Chickasaw lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Marvin Brooks, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of JaMarion Osborne, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and five steals.
Even though they lost, Chickasaw smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Clarke County's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Chickasaw, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.
Clarke County will head out on the road to take on Blacksher at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blacksher is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Chickasaw, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
