The Ragsdale Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Southwest Guilford Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ragsdale has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 21.
Last Tuesday, Ragsdale came up short against Southeast Guilford and fell 56-49. Ragsdale has not had much luck with Southeast Guilford recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Southwest Guilford has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were outmatched by Northern Guilford on the road and fell 67-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Southwest Guilford has scored all season.
Ragsdale has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Southwest Guilford, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-7.
Ragsdale suffered a grim 56-31 defeat to Southwest Guilford in their previous meeting back in January. Can Ragsdale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
