Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn extended the longest winning streak in 8-Man District 1 (8 Man) this week by beating Clay Central-Everly, 56-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn took down the Mavericks 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Harris-Lake Park takes on St. Mary's. The Wolves are in second place, while the Hawks are in fourth place.
River Valley led the league in scoring this week after putting up 68 points on Whiting.
