There's no place like home for Widefield, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They won by a  goal and slipped past the Canon City Tigers  3-2. The Gladiators' winning goal came courtesy of  Jayden Lee.
 Widefield has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record  this season. As for Canon City, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Widefield will welcome Mesa Ridge  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Widefield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6  goals per game  this season. As for Canon City, they will face off against Palmer at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Canon City is facing Palmer at the right time seeing as Palmer is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
