The Casa Roble Rams will face off against the Orestimba Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Casa Roble comes in on three and Orestimba on four.
Casa Roble is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Liberty Ranch by a score of 6-2.
Cassandra Alvarez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits.

On the hitting side, Gianna Giannini and Bailey Richards did most of the damage at the plate: Giannini went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Richards went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. Those three RBI gave Richards a new career-high. Payton Richards was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Casa Roble kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Orestimba hadn't done well against Hughson recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Warriors skirted past the Huskies 2-1.
Orestimba also let their pitcher toss all nine innings and she was also dialed-in: Hailey Starr gave up only one earned run on five hits and racked up seven Ks. Starr has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Salece Machado was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Casa Roble's record now sits at 15-10. As for Orestimba, their record is now 19-10.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Casa Roble hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .335. However, it's not like Orestimba struggles in that department as they've averaged .349. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
