The Yuba City Honkers will stay at home for another game and welcome the Rosemont Wolverine at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Yuba City is ranked 576th, while Rosemont is ranked 596th).
Last Saturday, Yuba City came up short against Pleasant Valley and fell 60-52.
Saleem Rafiq put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 19 points. He scored a full 36.5% of Yuba City's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Felix Matta, who scored 6 points.
Meanwhile, Rosemont earned a 57-47 win over Wood on Tuesday.
Kennedy's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Yuba City's defeat dropped theirs to 2-1.
Yuba City beat Rosemont 68-59 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Rosemont's Nazere Fisher, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 17 rebounds.
