Everything went Fort Defiance's way against Buffalo Gap on Friday as Fort Defiance made off with a 42-16 win. The result was nothing new for Fort Defiance, who have now won three contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Trey Miller was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 103 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Talyn Armentrout was in the mix too, providing Fort Defiance with two touchdowns.
Fort Defiance's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 18 points. As for Buffalo Gap, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Defiance will face off against Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Buffalo Gap, they will head out on the road to face off against Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
