Boca Ciega and Clearwater played the closest game in 5A District 8 this week, with Boca Ciega eventually emerging with a 17-12 victory.
Dunedin fell to Pinellas Park 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Tarpon Springs's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brandon Casler threw for 80 and 1 touchdown and Michael Ford had 56 yards receiving. On the ground Ford contributed 178 yards. Zach Gibb helped Tarpon Springs' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 37 yards.
