Gregori is a perfect 10-0 against Turlock since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Gregori Jaguars will venture away from home to take on the Turlock Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Gregori's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
Gregori's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Downey as Gregori made off with a 19-0 victory. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Kaliyah Mauia, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Angelina Hoffman, who scored four runs while going 3-for-3.
Gregori hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in 14 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Turlock beat Pitman 8-4 on Tuesday.
Cadee Campbell made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Five bases. while going 3-for-4.
In other pitching news, Kendall Higgins looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in April of 2024.
Back at the plate, Jaysee Rubio was a standout: she scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Madelyn Robison also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Gregori pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Turlock, their record now sits at 3-10.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Gregori hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .395. However, it's not like Turlock struggles in that department as they've averaged .318. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Gregori was able to grind out a solid victory over Turlock when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 9-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gregori since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
