Massac County put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Harrisburg Bulldogs. Seven seems to be a good number for the Patriots as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Zach Maurer was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024.
