Horizon Science Academy's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-6. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Horizon Science Academy strolled past Liberty Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2022 by a score of 77-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Horizon Science Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
