The Evergreen Christian Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Bishop O'Connell Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Evergreen Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Bishop O'Connell likes a good challenge.

Meanwhile, Bishop O'Connell and St. John's (ranked 33rd and 35th in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile matchup on Monday. Bishop O'Connell secured a 57-52 W over St. John's. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Bishop O'Connell's win came from a few key players Evergreen Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Darius Bivins, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Makel Minor, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 16 points.
Evergreen Christian's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.5 points per game. As for Bishop O'Connell, their record now sits at 10-3.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Evergreen Christian and Bishop O'Connell are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Evergreen Christian hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 70.8 points per game. However, it's not like Bishop O'Connell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 61.8 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
