The Minneola Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 70-45 margin over Moscow. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Minneola also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Minneola got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eli Lang out in front who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Lang is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Julian Miramontes, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Minneola and bumps their season record up to 7-9. As for Moscow, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Minneola will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ingalls is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Moscow, they will head out on the road to challenge the Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
