They breezed by Clinton Prairie on the road to the tune of 65-17. Given Hamilton Heights' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Clinton Prairie is ranked 307th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Camryn Runner continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was her 12th in a row with at least ten points. Ella Hickok was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight assists.
Hamilton Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Clinton Prairie, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Hamilton Heights will head out on the road to face off against Lapel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lapel focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Thursday. Clinton Prairie will be home for the holidays to greet Clinton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton Central will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
