Montgomery had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Grand Lake Hornets as they made off with a 17-7 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

Montgomery pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Grand Lake, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. As for Grand Lake, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 loss against Lakeside on the 22nd.
